Get to know me

I am a content writer by day and a novelist by night, and I’m usually working on my third cup of coffee by noon. Although I grew up in suburban Massachusetts, I now reside in the Baltimore area, where I live with my husband, Drew, and our black lab, Poppy.

I earned a BA in English and Creative Writing from the College of William & Mary, located in Williamsburg, Virginia. There, I received the Glenwood Clark Prize for Fiction and the Tiberius Gracchus Jones Prize for Nonfiction through the William & Mary Student Literary Awards.

Since then, my work has been published in the Richmond-based literary magazine Makeout Creek and is forthcoming in the retrospective book Everything’s Coming Up Makeout. I am currently seeking representation for my first novel, which addresses themes of loss, love, and sexuality with a focus on an intergenerational trauma rooted in mental health challenges. I am also excited to be working on my second novel.
